Tapashetti Abstract - This study uses an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT-2) paradigm to examine how job seekers use job recommender systems. Alongside standard UTAUT-2 variables, trust, personal innovativeness, and adequacy of alternatives were also examined. A survey involving 476 job seekers was conducted, with structural equation modelling employed for analysis. Results indicate positive influences on intention to use job recommender systems from factors such as performance expectancy, habit, personal innovativeness, and adequacy of alternatives. The study holds significant implications for both theoretical understanding and managerial practice.
